Via dei Verbi

Via dei Verbi

Via dei Verbi

Attività + giochi + dizionario multilingue.

Via dei Verbi is a useful series of books for reference and grammar practice. The books offer both a multilingual dictionary of the most commonly used Italian verbs and a vast array of exercises to help students use these verbs correctly.

The books can be used in class to support Italian teaching but they are also ideal for self-study thanks to the answer key and clear grammar tables provided.

The dictionary section acts as a helpful guide for each of the listed verbs including: translations into five languages (English, French, German, Spanish and Portuguese); the auxiliary verb (to be or to have); and a contextual example to clarify the meaning of the verb.

The second section is divided into levels of competence according to the CEFR and offers a wide range of grammar exercises and games, such as: multiple choice exercises, cloze tests, matching tasks and crosswords. Another section of exercises follows, divided by level and organised alphabetically. This means students can choose to practice on verbs of a specific level or on all the verbs starting with a specific letter.

Volume 1 is designed for beginners through to intermediate level students (CEFR A1-B1) while volume 2 covers upper intermediate to advanced levels (CEFR B2-C2).
