A new complementary material for learners of Spanish with an upper-intermediate to advanced level who want to improve and further develop their speaking skills, using Spanish and Latin American films as a focus of study. Each unit concentrates on a Spanish or Latin American film and introduces the theme and the socio-historical context of the film and then contains exercises and activities related to that film. The reader will become more familiar with different regional variations of Spanish, the themes tackled are interesting and up-to -date with the world of today and should instigate debate in the classroom. There is a vocabulary guide which also includes expressions and new words. Please note the films are not provided but they are have been chosen as they are easy to obtain.
