The READING & TRAINING series consists of beautifully illustrated graded readers, aimed at teenagers and adults. The majority of the books are adapted classics, but there are also some original stories - especially at lower levels - and the occasional non-fiction reader. The readers are graded into six levels according to internationally recognised criteria for structural grading. Each book is accompanied by an audio version either on CD or online via the DeA LINK App for smartphones and tablets.* The books offer a wide variety of activities and cross-curricular dossiers, information about the author and his/her times, plus helpful vocabulary footnotes. Additional resources, answer keys and exit tests are downloadable from the publisher's website.
Selected titles also come with access to a free E-READER version of the story, complete with audio, illustrations and interactive activities. Access the e-reader on iOS or Android devices with the Blackcat e-Readers App using the access code printed inside your book.
Within the Reading and Training series are a number of adapted works by WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE. These readers may also contain activities related to performing the plays.
