Leo's pub in a German city is a meeting place for all kinds of people of different ages and walks of life and the goings on are varied and sometimes chaotic. This series of readers based on events and characters who visit the bar include coloured illustrations, cultural photographs and audio-CDs to make the books more than just a set of readers. Each story centres on social and emotional aspects of the characters and events and is supported by comprehension exercises and a wealth of cultural information.
