This series for intermediate students introduces a wide range of original German literature texts and includes both short stories and novel extracts. Each volume examines authors and literary genres and is designed to familiarise students with literary terms and interpretation and to encourage them to form and express their own opinions. Detailed and easy to understand exercises follow the texts and lead students step by step to comprehension, analysis and interpretation of the texts and free expression of their own ideas. Questions on vocabulary, grammar and syntax are also included.
