Espace Virtuel - MdL French resources online
Espace Virtuel is an innovative digital platform designed to facilitate the teaching and learning of French as a foreign language.
Students and teachers alike can create a free account on the Espace Virtuel website and thus have LIMITED access to the resources and tools featured.
HOW TO CREATE A FREE ACCOUNT ON ESPACE VIRTUEL:
Students and teachers need to follow these 4 simple steps:
1. Click on the link http://espacevirtuel.emdl.fr/.
2. Choose the required user, i.e. 'Étudiant'/'Professeur'.
3. Click on the button 'CRÉER UN COMPTE GRATUIT'.
4. Fill in the online form.
Upon doing so, they will be redirected to the Espace Virtuel Home page.
UPGRADING TO A PREMIUM ACCOUNT ON ESPACE VIRTUEL:
For a small fee, students and teachers can upgrade to a Premium account, and thus enjoy a year's worth of UNLIMITED access to the digital contents featured on the platform, including digital versions of the student's books, interactive workbooks, videos, self-graded exercises etc. (N.B. - The digital versions of the textbooks can be accessed on a PC, MAC, iPad or Android tablet.)
To create a Premium account, students and teachers need to follow these simple steps:
1. On the Espace Virtuel Home page, click on the button 'PASSEZ PREMIUM'.
2. Copy the Premium code that they have been sent after placing their order with European Schoolbooks Ltd.
3. Paste it into the Premium code field, then click 'OK'.
As an alternative, students and teachers may decide to purchase a paper book and Premium code, thus enabling them to make use of the physical textbook in question whilst enjoying a year's worth of UNLIMITED access to the digital materials presented on the Espace Virtuel platform.
In this instance, Premium users can access ALL of Maison des Langues' digital books, regardless of the paper book they have ordered.
