The DILF is a diploma in French as a foreign language which assesses students at the very start of their studies, at A1.1 level according to the CEFR.

This book helps to thoroughly prepare students for the test through clear presentations and explanations of the way in which the test is carried out. It also provides 200 activities which concentrate primarily on oral skills and there are also practice tests which show the student exactly what to expect during the exam.

A CD-mp3 with over 2 hours of recordings is included with the book, as well as the answers to the exercises and transcripts to accompany the recorded texts, which enable the students to prepare for the exam independently if they wish.
