Josep Lluís Aguiló (Manacor, Mallorca, 1967). Poet and entrepreneur, is director of marketing and advertising. In 1986 he published his first book of poems, Cants d'arjau, written when he was a teenager, later also in his teens he published the following works: The Secret Library Station and the shadows (2004). With Monstres (2005) he was awarded the City of Alcover Poetry Prize in 2005 and in 2006, the National Critics Award for the best book of poems written in Catalan and a special mention from the jury of the Catalan Writers'Critics Awards. In 2007 he obtained in recognition of his work creating and disseminating poetry in Catalan the Majorcan Merit School Prize of Manacor. The University of the Balearic Islands published an Anthology collection of his poems. In 2008, Josep Lluís Aguiló won the Jocs Florals of Barcelona award for his work Llunari. The whole of his work has been translated several times.
