Franck Pavloff is a French novelist and poet born in Nîmes in France in 1940. His Bulgarian father allowed him to develop a critical mind and a need for freedom. He spent over twenty years in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and France in the field of community development and children's rights.

He is better known for his short story "Matin Brun", translated in 25 languages.
