'Tender is the Night' is a novel written by American writer F. Scott Fitzgerald. It was his fourth and final completed novel.
The novel is set on the French Riviera in the 1920s. Nicole and Dick Diver are a wealthy, elegant, magnetic couple. Many admirers are drawn to them, particularly a young starlet by the name of Rosemary Hoyt. However, when Rosemary falls in love with Dick, the Diver's life of perfection begins to crack.
