The "Sprachzeitungen" concept combines original articles from renowned national and international newspapers with introductions by native language editors with a few "simple" articles to produce up to the minute foreign newspapers that are accessible and appealing to foreign language learners.
Each article has a detailed vocabulary list (in German) to aid comprehension so that readers can read without reference to a dictionary and articles are selected to cover a range of subjects from politics, economics, society, environment, technology and leisure and include all the regions where the language is spoken.
