"Ambaraba" is an Italian course for 6-10 year olds that is the product of several years of successful research at the 'Instituto Pedagogico Tedesco di Bolzano'. There are a number of defining characteristics, most notably the variety of interactive activities which use techniques from the theory of Total Physical Response, the importance given to listening activities, and the use of clear and attractive illustrations to stimulate the imagination and support the written text.
