This flexible course follows three fun characters (whose character traits are akin to those of 5-11 year old children) on their adventures. The vocabulary and main language structures are taught through original songs, nursery rhymes and games in order to motivate and stimulate children's enjoyment of learning.

Girotondo Primo Approccio is aimed at very young pre-school children who cannot read or write and therefore it has no written text. It makes use of numerous interactive activities and dialogues and is full of colourful pictures.

Girotondo 5/6 anni is the equivalent of Primo Approcchio, but is for children just starting school who can read and write a little.

Girotondo 1 is aimed at false beginners who have already come across some Italian, either in Girotondo 5/6 anni, Girotondo primo approccio or elsewhere and who can read and write.
