World Talk

Designed as the next step-up from the "Talk Now!" series, "World Talk" offers intermediate-level students the opportunity to improve their listening and speaking skills.

There are ten language exercises to choose from which test knowledge of a wide range of topics (Food and Drink, Directions, Numbers, Dates, Weather, Descriptions etc.). These activities are complemented by six dictation exercises and comprehension worksheets. The speed of dictation can be changed to suit individual needs and each dictation and comprehension worksheet can be printed out with the answers where relevant.

A separate recording facility is provided for pronunciation practice and there is a Quickfire TV quiz where you can challenge a friend or the computer. Scores are recorded in each language exercise and if your score reaches a high enough level you can print out a certificate.

The "World Talk" series is available in a wide range of languages. Please ask for a full list.
